How to Change UNN Student Profile Password for both new and Returning Students.


I am going to treat this under two subheadings. The first is for the newly admitted students who are also new to UNN portal and as such, have not yet created their Students Profile. The second subheading is for returning students who have created their Students Profile but wish to change their password for one reason or the other.

How to Change UNN Students Profile Password for New Students

1. Visit the University of Nigeria Portal: unnportal.unn.edu.ng,
   
2. Click on the Undergraduate Students tab.
   
3. On the dropdown menu, click Create Portal Account to access the verification page.
   
4. Select new student and enter your JAMB Registration Number and Application Remita Number. Click submit.

That’s all there is to it. If you encounter challenges and need help, you can quickly visit the UNN ICT Support Website and follow the following steps:

1. Visit the UNN ICT Support Website via: teneceschoolsupport.com/open.php
   
2. Click on “Open a New Ticket;” to create a ticket.
   
3. In the “Help Topic” select “Login Challenge” in the drop down menu.
   
4. Enter your email address, full name and phone number in the accurate columns.
   
5. Select UNN As Institution.
   
6. Enter your Accurate JAMB Registration Number in the appropriate column.
   
7. In Challenge Summary, Just write “Change my UNN Password“.
   
8. In the Challenge Details, Just summarize your problem. Tell the ICT support to change your password and make sure you state your jamb registration number, and the new password you want.
   
9. You password will be changed within 48hours.
   
10. To confirm it, just use your jamb registration number and new password to login to the UNN Portal.
    

How to Change UNN Students Profile Password for Returning Student
The steps are for returning students, who wish to change their password maybe because they suspect that it has been compromised or for any other reason. More so, newly admitted students who have previously gone through the steps above to change their password but wish to change it once again for whatever reason, can follow the steps below to effect the change.

1. Visit UNN Student Portal via>>>unnportal.unn.edu.ng.
   
2. Click on “account”>>>>>Forgot Password.
   
3. Enter your username in the space provided (Matric Number for returning students and jamb registration number for candidates who don’t have matric number)
   
4. Click on Submit and verify your email address.
   
5. A link to recover your password will be sent to your email,
   
6. Check your email and click the link to recover your password.
